Okay not to play favorites, but I must say this is one of the coolest products we have here at form design centre.
Fort Distributors brings us EasyRock, and just like the name says, they make things look like a mason had a hand in it. The great thing is, you do not need a mason; just a mitre saw, a putty savvy helper, and a surface to apply it to.
EasyRock, is in fact, not rock at all. It is a high-density polyurethane (same stuff that Disney parks use for their rock formations!) It is coated with iron oxides (stone dust) and the result after baking is very (very) realistic rock.
The product is non-toxic and considered a green product (100% inert) They also do not absorb moisture or support mold and fungus (so below soil grade application is okay).
So are you prepared to be fooled? Stop by the form design centre showroom and take a look at our feature wall done in "Shadow Ridge" drystack style EasyRock. Even mason's have to take a second look!
Visit the EasyRock website at www.easyrockproducts.com and of course www.formdesigncentre.ca

Zenithar Marble & Jerusalem Stone

This week's featured Form partner is one of our first partners, Zenithar Marble & Jerusalem stone. Zenithar is a local company that imports some of the most beautiful tile you have ever seen, or stepped on.
We are fortunate to have a full floor done in Jerusalem Stone, a limestone quarried from Israel (hence the name), and is available for purchase through Zenithar. This tile can be purchased in patterns involving the different shades of stone available such as Antique Gold. Jerusalem stone has the ability to be installed outside as well; creating a stunning walkway, entryway or driveway. Also available are stone rugs; "rugs" created from different colours of stone tile to create a beautiful mosaic, ready to install! It comes attached to a mesh, so no worries about arranging the pieces.
New to Zenithar is a line of porcelain tile called NOVO, also imported from overseas. I would say it is the best copy of real stone I have ever seen, as a matter of fact, you can see for yourself here at Form Design Centre.
Along with the Jerusalem Stone and porcelain, Zenithar has a wide array of borders and accent pieces that use several matierials from glass, stainless steel to marble and ceramic.
There are sample boards for just about every item in the catalogue, and you can make a one-on-one appointment with Genadi through Form Design Centre.

Feature form partner: Provincial Floorcraft

Now usually I give businesses a hard time for not having a website. I will give these folks at Provincial Floorcraft a free pass, only because I know that they are one of the busiest businesses I have seen.
They have an amazing reputation in the flooring world: meaning, they do excellent work, and they only use quality products.
This is a family run business, started back in 1966. This is definitely the place where designers and architects go; Winnipeg's best kept secret!
Another secret I will tell you (and tell your friends), is that Provincial Floorcraft sells a very unique line of area rugs. So unique in fact, that they are the only distributor in Western Canada for this line. The line is Tufenkian, and you havent lived until you see a Tufenkian rug for yourself. Before visiting Jared at Provincial, I was not completely sold on how great these rugs are....but then I touched the Tufenkian rugs.....
To get an idea of the craftsmanship and beauty of Tufenkian, check out their website at http://www.tufenkiancarpets.com/
Then head over to Provincial to see them for yourself.
So, for quality product like area rugs, hardwood flooring, w2w carpeting, tile, cork (and the list goes on), visit Provinial Floorcraft today!
They are located on 3218 Portage Avenue in Winnipeg. You can give them a call at (204)885-2413.

Feature Partner - Stalwart Appliances
To be honest, before I started working for Form Design Centre, I did not have a hot clue on what to look for in home appliances.
As a matter of fact, I did not know what an induction cooktop was until I heard a presentation from Stalwart Appliances by Design. Induction is a new way of cooking using magnetic heat. Very energy efficient and safe to use.
He also explained how important ventilation is when you cook. He gave us a very yucky statistic; the amount of grease that accumulates in a poorly ventilated home is the equivalent to a pound of lard, pasted on all of your walls, ceilings and furniture! YUCK!!!
Also, the emergence of integrated appliances; which means basically, hidden appliances! We have an example here at Form. We challenge you to find the double refridgerator.
Stop by and see our showroom featuring appliances by Ariston, Leibherr and Meile. Or stop by Stalwart Appliances by Design located at 1781 Wellington.

The new sign is here! The new sign is here!

At Last our LED Sign has been installed and should be up and running by tomorrow afternoon. With a few mishaps and the wickedly wild wind of Monday, we managed to get the Form sign up, the LED sign installed, and the original KEsay sign moved to the other side of the building.
To see all three signs together looks quite awesome. Come take a look! you get a great view at the intersection of Taylor and Pembina.
Watch our sign for upcoming features including seminars, Kesay sales, and the always interesting, time and temperature so you can see how late you are and how cold it is.
Oh yeah, Kesay is having a sale this month! All custom uphostery 20% off! Plus further reduced floor models.

New Form Partners Announcement

We have been busy the past couple of weeks! Once the seminars for March were complete (with thanks to the staff at Kesay and Design Profile), we move on to more exciting business.
We have two new partners on board with Form; Genuwine Cellars and Provincial Floorcraft.
The great thing about these two companies is that they are both based in Manitoba. They also have a great attitude about business. And it shows in their work. Definitely experts in their field.
Visit Genuwine's website at http://www.genuwinecellars.com/ to get a glimpse of the beautifully crafted cellars they produce. Then hop on over to Form to visit me!
